A week of exciting colourful carnival activities is lined up at Erewash Museum for the February half term school break.
Free fiesta crafts and activities will be on offer during drop-in sessions between 11am and 3pm from Monday 15 February to Friday 19 February and promise lots of fun and laughter.
There will be a chance to make colourful masks and take part in an activity hunt around the museum to find jesters, carnival masks and characters.
Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, says:
“We all love the colour and the spirit of carnivals – so what better way to spend the February half-term school break than with a week of fun and fiesta. We look forward to seeing you all there!”
Erewash Museum is just off the High Street in Ilkeston town centre, a short walk from the Market Place. Admission is free and it is open Monday to Saturday during school holidays between 10am-4pm.
