Peter Pan comes to West Park

IMG_0966Erewash Borough Council will host the all-time favourite Peter Pan panto at Long Eaton’s West Park Leisure Centre this December – a magical family treat in the lead up to Christmas.

Tickets are now on sale for two performances that will be held at 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 17 December courtesy of touring theatre company Gary Starr Pantomimes.

The leisure centre will be transformed into a Neverland setting as the familiar story unfolds of Peter Pan trying to outwit the villainous Captain Hook.

Featuring all the favourite characters, Peter Pan and the Pirates of Neverland promises stunning costumes, rousing songs and dances, spectacular scenery and lots of panto comedy to entertain everyone.

Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, says:

This will be a magical family treat that is certain to captivate the children and we are thrilled to be able to host it in the run-up to Christmas. We held our first panto last year and the tickets sold out very quickly – so if you want to see this family favourite at a great value-for-money price then get your seats booked now. Do we think this will be a massive festive hit? Oh yes we do!

Tickets are £5.50 children, £6.50 adults or a £22 family ticket (2 adults and 2 children). Available now from West Park Leisure Centre, Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton.
